QuickBooks print settings are damaged

I got a support call from one of the user, she was running a Microsoft Window Vista (32 bits) OS, when she tried to print the invoice she got an error message:

“Your print settings are damaged. Click help for instructions on how to fix this problem”.

According to the Reckon’s FAQ ID Q12035, the solutions are:

To overcome this message you will need to delete two print files from your computer which QuickBooks makes use of for printing.

The two files are called:

  • QBPRINT.QBP
  • WPR.INI

Note: For detail instruction, please refer to Reckon’s Knowledge base.

I have never encountered this problem before. In some cases, besides removing these two files alone, I may also try to uninstall QuickBooks program and reinstall it. Some time reinstalling program can help to resolve the conflict between programs.
